yoz! back from VCH after being a day as an usher. well, actually i reach home at around 11pm. hahah! anyway, it's really a fun experience being a usher. u get to walk around practically anywhere(to the back stage and other places), free cip hours, free meal(ying ying REALLY eat alot!) and OF course, FREE concert. *shit, i sound like a typical singaporean again=.=*
but hey, i didnt become an usher just becoz of all the "free" things ok (haha, partially lah). it's for the EXPERIENCE, how to tear tickets and be polite to them, and also how to fend off/talk to irritating audience. well, actually something happened that really pissed cheryl (and some other ppl) off. i dont really have much feeling bout it, just that, THE person is freaking ridiculous. this is how it go. at about 5pluspm, there was this uncle approaching us(me ying cheryl yvoone). at that time, our duty haven start and we were just sitting around chatting at the ticket booth. when that uncle raeched the ticket booth, he asked us whether there was any ticket for sales.however, all the tickets are sold out. so, that person(mr lim) replied back
Mr lim: but i got.... got... got... call.... er....er.... that person regarding... er.... the TJC concert.
Cheryl(or someone): Sir, which person did u call?
mr lim: the one... er....er.... for the TJC CO.... ya, i call that person (from Co) and and he said i just come to buy the ticket
Ying: but sir, are you planning to attend the TJ band or TJ CO concert?
Mr lim: the the... the advertisement only advertise the TJ CO mah... then then never advertise the Band concert... so i dunno who... er... who to call
Yvonne: Sir, so are you watching the Band concert or the CO concert? coz if u are watching the CO concert, its at SCH, not VCH.
Mr lim: nono, you see.. the the... the advertisement only advertise the TJ CO mah... then then never advertise the Band concert... so i dunno who... er... who to call... then so i call that person from CO and he say he can help... help me(*not answering the question*)
Me: ok sir why not you give me your name and i go find the person in charge
[so he gave me and i left. 10 minutes later]
Lam (the person in charge): hi sir what is your name?? so that i can...
Mr lim: i dunno... dunno whether i got reserve the ticket anot ... (back to the Co advert and calling blah blah)
Lam: oh... but sir, our ticket is sold out.
Mr lim: er er er, can i ... the er(x3)... exchange the CO ticket with someone?
Lam+me: sorry sir. you cant do this.. (me: =.=)
Mr lim: but but ( back to the CO advert thingy -.-)... then u all like that.... separating me... from from... er.. err.... my(x5)... interest
Me: i am very sorry sir. but that's not within our control.
Lam: i can help u ask my teacher in charge( and call)
Mr lim: you all... like this arz... it's(x2) like.... you know... er....ruin my... er.... future..... then u all....alll... all... spoil my... my... my interest for band.. then er... make me come all the ... way here... you know... know... how sad i feel now... like.. that...... my my my future... how? blah blah [and left]
(everyone at the ticket booth is like -.-!!! wth)
the best part! 10 minutes after he left, one band member came running to the booth and said:" hey anyone wants 2 ticket? my friends couldnt make it"
HAHA totally LOL!!!! that mr lim deserve it siaz!
ya, after that stupid uncle incident, everything went smoothly and we even get to see Miss Quek's BF!! and so the concert started and i had a enjoyable time listening to the band pieces! =)
